Proper lighting for the house
There are
two main areas of lighting for the home: indoor and outdoor. Entrances,
terraces, and gardens often provide starting points for improving the quality of
the light. A balanced combination of natural and artificial lighting not only
provides a pleasant atmosphere and a better light experience but also for more
security in the house and garden. Depending on the application, you should
basically choose between basic lighting (also general lighting), zone lighting
(only one zone in the area is illuminated) and accent lighting (only one object
is illuminated accentuated) differ. To save money, we recommend you switch to LED LIGHTS. So you not only reduce energy but also benefit from the longevity of the LEDs.
Lighting for the interior
In the
interior of your home you should pay attention to which atmosphere in the
respective room should be created. In the bedroom, a pleasant color temperature
of <2,700 Kelvin is optimal because the light is extra warm white and
invites you to relax. For example, a warm white color temperature (2,700 to
3,300 Kelvin) can be used in the living room. In any case, pay attention to a
high color rendering (> 90 Ra), so that illuminated colors look natural and
not dull or dull. This is especially important in the kitchen because of the
food. It is sufficient to have basic lighting in each room, which is
connected to the main light switch. However, even a zone lighting can create a
pleasant ambiance, as the light, for example, a floor lamp only in their area
broadly illuminates the part of the room.
Lighting for outdoor use
When it
comes to outdoor, safety is an important factor. Lighting contributes
significantly to this, for example, to deter burglars. For sensor lights, they
are switched on directly when the sensor registers, for example, a movement.
However, there are also twilight sensors that turn on your lights when dawn
breaks. Thanks to sensors, you can save energy and therefore money, as energy
consumption can be regulated so effectively. It is very common to resort to
accent lighting in the outdoor area, as objects are accentuated in this way.
This effect you get with LED lights. Since these are used outdoors, they must
be resistant to weathering. Therefore pay attention to the IP protection the
lights. We recommend the protection of at least IP4x.
